Thankyou - my husband has been unwell with ankle & lower leg pain since being prescribed Amoxicillin some weeks ago for a debilitating cough. (which ironically was a side effect of Ramipril - a drug he was prescribed in March for high blood pressure). Although we suspected the Amoxicillin antibiotic has been the cause of his pain, the G.P. refuted our comments. He has only been able to walk for very short periods, can't stand for any length of time and his lower legs are still very painful to touch. He is normally very fit, active and healthy for a 71 yr old. and only developed blood pressure problems in the early part of this year.

[...] Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria that line our small intestines. It is estimated that 75-80% of your immune system is in your gut and beneficial bacteria are an important part of your immune defense, even more critical as we head into flu season. Beneficial bacteria are also critical for absorbing certain undigested starches, fibers and sugars called prebiotics and converting them into energy and nutrients. They also help the body produce Vitamin K and some of the B vitamins and they promote absorption of vitamins and minerals from the foods we eat. [...]

Are there any berries in particular?

As a specific chiropractor I promote health and wellness and like to have input from others. Thank you.
